Laskar Wazir was the minister in charge of the army or military department. In this sense he was equivalent to mir bakhshi. The term Laskar Wazir is found in the Bengali literature produced in Arakan, and is mentioned in the poems of daulat qazi and alaol. [Abdul Karim]
